Be it as a co-producer or an actor, Allu Sirish has been in favour of trying something new. The son of ace producer Allu Aravind sensed the potential of Ghajini and got it remade into Hindi. When everybody thought Sirish would go on to be a producer only, he caught everyone by surprise by donning the greasepaint. As a debutante, he had no set image and so, Sirish happily chose a message-oriented film to make an appearance on the big screen. Thus, he teamed up with Radhamohan for Gauravam.
The debut film sunk without a trace at the BO. Next time, Sirish would make a smart move. He had Maruthi, a director who knows the pulse of the youth like no other, to helm the affairs. Kottha Janta, released amid ordinary expectations, was lapped up by the audience. Sirish's performance was rightly appreciated by one and all.
Notice that Sirish didn't think of capitalizing on the success of his second film in a hurry. He sat back and took stock of things. After reaching out to youngsters with Kottha Janta, he understandably wanted to reach out to family audience with his third. That's Srirasthu Shubhamasthu for you. Directed by Parushuram of Solo fame, this family entertainer is currently in post-production phase. Watch out for a second hit from the Allu star.
In the coming year, Sirish is going to further try out new things. After a social entertainer like Gauravam, a youthful rom-com like Kottha Janta and a family entertainer like SS, the fledgling star is set to do a film with portions that belong to the genre of period drama. The film will be directed by MVN Reddy and produced by Shailendra Productions.
IndiaGlitz wishes the experimental actor a successful year ahead. May Sirish give his sibling Bunny a run for money in the coming years!
