Happy and hopeful

As we have been writing in these columns, young hero Tarun's hold in the industry is getting very tenuous. He has had no big hits since a long long time.

But if you think that he is losing his sleep over that, then think again. The handsome hero is still very cheery and full of mirth. That he is mentally very focused can be gauged by the fact he was the one who really shone in the charity cricket match last Sunday.

Tarun is also full of beans elsewhere too. Recently he met the press in connection with his movie Oka Voorilo.

He was as usual radiating energy and enthusiasm. The film, made by Ramesh Varma, is Tarun's big chance to make a big comeback.

The film pits the young Saloni opposite Tarun. Saloni too needs a hit as because her first Dhana 51 did not exactly stir any waters.

Tarun, who is through the first schedule, says that the story of the film is very unique, which if you know the lingo of the industry is nothing unique.

But there is a quiet confidence in him that the film will indeed be a success.

The producer Chanti Adala also echoes the same view.

There is another hero in the film ---Raja. And he is riding a crest wave of success these days.

Two heroes with opposite experiences in recent times have however one thing in common ---confidence.
