Hansika Motwani is one of the popular actresses in Kollywood and Tollywood, and the pretty actress was last seen on screen playing a vital role in the Vikram Prabhu starrer cop thriller Thuppaki Munai, directed by Dinesh Selvaraj, and the movie was received well by audience.

Hansika, who started off as a child artist has reached the milestone 50th film in her career, and post the fairly decent response to Thuppaki Munai has been shooting for her 50th movie Maha, directed by UR Jameel, who had previously worked as an assistant director in Romeo Juliet and Bogan. Maha also happens to be music director Ghibran's 25th movie and also stars Srikanth and Thambi Ramaiah.

As the movie is progressing well, the recent update is that Hansika, who had been shooting for an action sequence has got injured. Reportedly, Hansika had been performing an emotional scene followed by a somersault during which the actress slipped, and sustained injuries. Though she was advised to take rest, the dedicated actress continued shooting wearing a bandage.
