Quite often, Hansika is compared with Khushboo, with regard to their bubbliness and screen presence. Working with Sundar C for the third time, in 'Aranmanai', Hansika has gotten the opportunity to move up close with Khushboo as a family. Hansika is overwhelmed by Khushboo's simplicity and follows her advice when it comes to her career. However, she also means to differ from Khushboo's opinion. "I and Khushboo ma'am get to interact a lot. She appreciated my performance in 'Aranmanai'.

She advised to me that no matter however, much people relate and draw a comparison of me to her, I am far different and an individual performer on my own. She also commented that I am much better than her, but I certainly do not agree with her on that - she is the always best! She is a helpful critic who advises me time and again on my performance and constantly encourages me" says Hansika.
