Hansika considered for Singam 2

Hansika Motwani may not be getting one too many offers in Telugu, but it is offers galore there in Kollywood. After acting with the likes of Vijay and Dhanush, she is being seriously considered for the role opposite Suriya in the sequel to Singam. The prize catch there for the cackling beauty is kicking. The second part, which again will be directed by Hari, will have the same Suriya and Anushka in the lead.

Apart from Anushka, the script demanded another leading lady and Hari zeroed in on Hansika for the task. The young actress is happy to share the screen space with Suriya and she has a meaty role to play, say sources close to the development.

Hansika, who started her acting career when she was a child, made her debut in Kollywood as heroine last year. She was part of three big projects - 'Velayudham' opposite Vijay, 'Mappillai' with Dhanush and 'Engeyum Kadhal' opposite Jayam Ravi.

At present, she is acting in 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi', the maiden acting venture of producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, and 'Vettai Mannan', which has Simbu and Jai in lead roles.
