Massively popular web show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' proved to be a game changer for filmmaker Hansal Mehta who is currently working on the second season of his 'Scam' series. The show 'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story' was announced a while back and it is going to essay the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, the orchestrator of 2003 Stamp Paper Fraud.
Since the first season was so exciting and refreshing, audience have high hopes from the sequel as well. In a recent conversation with PTI, Hansal Mehta shared that 'Scam 2003' will have everything which was so great about 'Scam 1992'. He stated, "It’ll be entertaining, authentic and all the things that season one was and much more. You’re delving into a life, a new character. We will try to incorporate learnings from season one."
Hansal Mehta further shared that 'Scam 2003' will be standalone story of its own. He stated, "We have treated season two as a fresh start. We cannot be bogged down by season one, that it was a huge success so we have to repeat it. The moment you get into that trap, you’ll end up disappointing yourself."
