The first look of Sundar.C directorial ‘Aranmanai’ has been released recently. The poster has Hansika draped in a red sari who is sitting opposite a huge palace like structure.

Hansika plays the role of a girl with divine abilities who can predict future and heal people’s wounds. Her character brings the twist in the film. Apart from Hansiska Aranmanai stars Sundar.C, Vinay Rai, Andrea, Santhanam and Lakshmi Rai. ‘Aranmanai’ is touted as a horror flick with ample scope for Sundar.C’s trademark comedy writing.

This is the film that is being directed by Sundar.C after ‘Nagaram’ that released in 2010. Dismissing reports that it is a remake film, Sundar.C’s actress wife Khushbu has mentioned in her micro-blogging page that “Aranmanai is not a remake of any film...Wait n watch...it will blow u away..Never b4 u wud have ever seen such a edge on the seat thriller :)

Songs composed by Bharathwaj are expected to be released this month and the film shall be expected to hit the screens in June.
