'Hamari Adhuri Kahani': Makers plan surprise pre-release screening

Having sensed the anticipation of 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' release among the audiences, director Mohit Suri (riding high with 'Aashiqui 2' and' Ek Villain' success) and Mahesh Bhatt (who has written the story of the film) have decided to show the film to select audiences from across the country.

The director-writer duo have decided to surprise audiences, who have been raving about the trailer and songs of 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', by announcing that they will screen the film to them before it hits the theatre!

Mahesh Bhatt says, "I don't want to say how 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' has shaped up. I don't want to talk about my expectations from the film. We want audiences to discover the film, the performances and them telling us what they feel about the film. We are confident that we have made a film that will be loved by people. Our marketing has also been something that's very different from the routine of how films are promoted which is generally shouting from the rooftop saying how well a film has been made. I think audiences are smart enough to understand how good or bad a film is. We are extremely happy with the response towards the film so far and all our marketing efforts have only been to communicate to audiences who have loved our trailer and our songs that we are releasing on June 12 and we are hoping that they will love what they see."

Produced by Vishesh Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' captures the passion of unrequited love between two souls who can't stop longing and loving each other despite their realities pulling them away from each other. The film releases on June 12.
