A new Kannada film Halli Sogadu` postal stamp of Rs.5 along with famous literary giant Prof Doddarange Gowda coming up is a rare event for the first time cinema production team.

Halli Sogadu` (flavour of village) is a well derived film from famous dance director turned director of a debut film. He has utilised 29 film songs penned by Prof Doddarange Gowda in this Halli Sogadu` and the hero of the film is an admirer of Prof Doddarange Gowda.

Halli Sogadu` postal stamp was released in the presence of Prof Doddarange Gowda, Prof SG Siddaramayya and actor turned politician Kumar Bangarappa presence.

Producer Satish Kumar Mehta has made right arrangements for this momentous occasion. Kumar Bangarappa remembered the song penned by Prof Doddarange Gowda for his Ashwamedha Kannada cinema Hrudaya Samudra Kalaki….this Sri Chamundeswari studio has many histories in its kitty. This film Halli Sogadu` title gathers attention he mentioned.

Kapil and team with Arav Soorya and Akshara have completed shoot and it is at post production. Story, screenplay, dance and direction are handled by Kapil focuses on 29 songs of Prof Doddarange Gowda from his forty plus popular songs written for this film. The protagonist Arav Soorya is a big admirer of Gowda in the film.

Doddarange Gowda has also acted in this film. Journalist Pankaja pened dialogues, Ragaramana has scored music, HN Dattatreya , Mahantesh KS, BN Swamy, Rajath Raghunath are co producers of this film.
