Shivaji Raja, President of Movie Artistes' Association, has urged the media to stop spreading rumours about those imagined to be involved in Tollywood's drug scandal. Ever since MAA held a press meet the other day to warn drug abusers in the industry, sections of media have been speculating the names of three heroes, three heroines and two directors.

"Half of the names doing the rounds are pure fiction. Because of such unverified reports, the individuals in question and their families are agonized," the MAA president has said in a statement.

Much to everyone's surprise, the Association is going to release the names of those who have been issued notices by the excise department. That should put an end to all speculations.
