Director Seenu Ramasamy who has played a major role in Vijay Sethupathi's career by launching him as a hero in Thenmerku Paruvakatru, is all set to launch Malayalam hero Shane Nigam in Tamil with his next movie Spa. Shane Nigam is popular in Malayalam with movies like Kumbalangi Nights and Ishq.

Now Shane Nigam has faced death threats from a producer, and Shane has opened up about it on social media. Shane is now acting two movies Veyil and Kurbani, and after completing a schedule for Veyil, he had to change his look for Kurbani and had a haircut, and posted a photo on Whatsapp.

After this, Veyil's producer Joby George called him and scolded that Veyil will not have continuity and threatened that he will  not let Shane live, and Shane has complained about this in the actors association along with the call recording audio. Joby has however said he did not threaten, and Shane only delays the film. Shane has requested his fans to support him, saying that Joby poses threat to his life.
