A success meet to celebrate the grand running of 'Raju Gari Gadhi-2' was held in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.

Speaking at the event, 'King' Nagarjuna said, "After so many days, I had two beers and ate Chicken biryani to heart's content. I had been busy with 'RGG-2' and the wedding of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha till recently."

Nag described as the four pillars of 'RGG-2' director Ohmkar, producers Prasad V Potluri and Jaganmohan Reddy, and Abburi Ravi (dialogue writer).

The Akkineni actor further said, "An astrologer who used to be preferred by my mother once told me that whenever I play novel characters, it will be a hit for sure. It has been proven once again by 'RGG-2'. Even though rains are lashing many places across AP and Telangana, the collections haven't dwindled. I can say with confidence that 'RGG-2' will turn out to be a bigger hit than even 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'."

Samantha Akkineni said, "This success is the marriage gift that the Telugu audience have given me. I have always wished that my uncle's film should become a big hit. I thank Ohmkar garu for choosing me for this role. My uncle helped me a lot in shooting for the climax."

Ohmkar said, "I will always be indebted to the audience, especially women audience, for this big hit. The way Nagarjuna garu's fans have lapped up the movie is awesome. Since I took extra care in making this film come out well, Nagarjuna garu would jovially dub me as an OCD guy. I took such special care because it was an opportunity to direct my favourite hero. This excellent product is a team effort."

PVP said, "We were confident about the film right from the beginning. Last night, I watched the film in a theatre and felt very happy that many women had turned up for the second show. If 'Oopiri' earned Rs. 80 lacs in Nizam on Day 1, 'RGG-2' has made Rs. 1.40 Cr."

Music director SS Thaman said, "After a long time, my background score has received so much of critical appreciation. I have had to toil a lot thanking those who are appreciating me on Twitter. The output wouldn't have been possible but for Ohmkar."

Seerat Kapoor said, "This is my favourite script that I selected after some gap. I thank the director for keeping faith in me. Acting opposite Nagarjuna garu is something I will never forget."

Abhinaya, who has a key role in the second half, said, "After 'King' and 'Dhamarukam', this is my third film with Nagarjuna garu. I will never forget the experience of doing this film. By the way, Samantha's fans are angry with me."
