Music director Hip Hop Thamizha Aadhi had turned a hero with Meesaya Murukku released in 2017, and the movie also marked his debut as a director. The movie was based on his own life and was produced by Sundar. C and became a commercial success.

Following the success, Hip Hop Aadhi again acted in Natpe Thunai which was directed by debutant Parthiban Desingh and was produced by Sundar C. Currently Sundar C is producing the third movie of the actor as well, directed by short film maker Raana and co-starring Iswarya Menon.

The latest speculation making rounds is that, Hip Hop Aadhi's fourth movie as a hero will be directed by an associate of Ner Konda Paarvai maker H Vinoth, and that Vinoth himself might be writing the story and screenplay of this movie. An official clarification on this speculation is expected soon.
