Director H. Vinoth who made a splash with the highly entertaining con artist thriller 'Sathuranga Vettai' has been going from strength to strength with his subsequent films 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru', 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and 'Valimai'. He is gearing up for the release of his next 'Thunivu' which marks his third consecutive collaboration with Ajith Kumar.

'Thunivu' produced by Boney Kapoor with music by Ghibran is releasing on Pongal 2023 amidst huge expectations. The film stars Ajith, Manju Warrier, John Kokken and Samuthirakani among others.

Meanwhile there were reports that H. Vinoth will be directing Vijay Sethupathi in his next film. The project produced by Seven Screen Studios was supposed to start in the fourth quarter of 2022 but was discarded due to unknown reasons. It was later reported that Vinoth will be directing Kamal Haasan next for a RKFI Producton venture also starring Vijay Sethupathi.

H. Vinoth during his recent press interaction for the promotion of 'Thunivu' has stated that though he has held talks with the above mentioned heroes nothing is finalised. He shared that he has a low budget script that he is keen to make with Yogi Babu as the hero. The story involves a petty thief pitted against an obsessed cop and the ace director added that he will take a call about his next after Pongal.
