Actor-music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar's 'Pencil' has released on Firday (May 13) and it has been getting positive reviews. This should have released as the debut film of GVP as an actor, but it has released after being under the wraps for more than two and a half years.
Sadly this film which has released after many struggles has also become a victim of piracy. However the 'Pencil' team has not taken this lightly. They have swiftly reacted and approached the Police for immediate action to nab the culprit behind the illegal leakage of the film and save the box office fortunes of the film.
The film's producer Ragavesh of Kalsan Movies has launched a formal complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner. In the letter it has been stated that the pirated online version of 'Pencil' film is available in a particular website. The complainant has sought immediate action from the police to block the site and also take action against the culprits behind this.
G.V. Prakashmet the Commissioner along with the 'Pencil' team to launch the complaint and request immediate action to stop the piracy menace.
it is worth noting that the recent biggies '24' and 'Theri' starring Suriya and Vijay respectively, also had pirated online versions and the action has been sought from police by the makers of both the films.
