The literary genius, author of Kannada dictionary 105 years Prof G Venkatasubbaiah has command over English and Kannada turns 105 on August 23.

There is no change in his day to day activity. He gets up at 6 am (previously 4.45 am) and takes a walk in the verandah of the house instead of going to nearby park. His reading habit without spectacles at this age and energy is very much intact. Reading, writing, literary environment in home, playing with grandchildren in the week end and walking in fresh air are his pet activities.

He has no problem for ears and eyes. He reads all the newspapers coming to his house without missing the editorials. Interesting articles in the supplements catches his attention. On August 15 he went to Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for flag hoisting. He addressed for 15 minutes on pre national independence and post independence.

All his positive thinking and activities has kept his BP and sugar well in control. He is no doubt the walking encyclopedia around us says his son GV Arun.
