This time it will be for actor Vikram that this young musician will sing. The film is ‘Pitha’ directed by A.L.Vijay. Prakash who has proved his talent in hitting the right chords usually experiments with a wide variety in music. The composer opened his singing innings when he sang ‘Chikku Bukku …’ for his uncle A.R. Rahman in the film ‘Gentleman’.

Prakash, after a hiatus, lent his voice for the recently released blockbuster film ‘Aadukalam’, and the song was ‘Athe Athe…’ The young composer has also crooned a song in ‘Va-Quarter Cutting’. Now it looks like G.V.Prakash, the singer, is more serious to get behind the mike. He will also be composing songs for ‘Pitha’, one of which goes like “Vennilave Vennilave”.

Everything is roses for the young singer on the professional front, with films lined one behind the other in various languages. On the personal front too Prakash Kumar has been engaged to singer Saindhavi. The two who were classmates in school have been engaged and there are talks of their marriage towards the end of this year!
