Music director turned actor GV Prakash’s career has been going great guns, with multiple projects in his kitty, and since last year, his career took a u-turn as he got to act in the direction of National Award winning director Bala in Naachiyaar, following which he is working alongside established makers as well.
Even as GV Prakash is working with Sasi in Siddharth costarrer Retta Kombu, Sarvam Thaala Mayam by Rajiv Menon (releasing on February 1), AL Vijay’s Watchman and Vasantha Balan’s Jail, next GV Prakash has bagged an exciting project that will have him work with ace director Maniratnam himself!
Buzz is that GV Prakash has been roped in to play the lead role in an upcoming movie bankrolled by Maniratnam in his Madras Talkies banner, and this project which will be directed by debutant Dhanasekaran, will have dialogues co-written by Maniratnam himself. This yet to be titled movie will have music by 96 and Seethakaathi fame Govind Vasantha.
