G.V.Prakash's unique approach to help those affected by cyclone Ockhi

It is a well known fact that actor and music composer G.V.Prakash always stood up and voiced out for social issues as evident from his activities during the jallikattu and Neduvasal protests. Now, the actor is on war footing to help those farmers and fishermen community affected by cyclone Ockhi.
G.V.Prakash has embarked on an innovative mission to bring help to the affected people by means of crowd funding via internet portal named Edudharma. Taking in data pertaining to the educational and the health statuses of the affected people, G.V.Prakash has kick started the project that will help 500 benefactors.
The team has also planned to give Rs.2000 towards each affected family which comes to a grand total of Rs.15 lakhs. It is also worth mentioning here that G.V.Prakash Kumar has helped an athlete named Kathiravan and also in the construction of toilets in a girls school in Kallakurichi. In addition to this, the actor’s efforts have also benefitted Suganya to continue her medicine studies which otherwise would have not been possible.
