"Thangalaan," starring Chiyaan Vikram, is a highly ambitious film by acclaimed director Pa Ranjith. The project is currently in the final stage of post-production. Recently, Studio Green's CEO Dhananjayan confirmed in an interview that 'Thangalaan' is set to hit the screens on August 15th, with the film scheduled to be censored in July.

Meanwhile, the movie's composer, GV Prakash, announced on social media that he has completed the music for 'Thangalaan' and that the trailer will be revealed soon. He wrote, "#thangalaan bgscore completed … have given my best … what a film …. Looking forward to…..And what a terrific trailer is on ur way soon ur gonna be mind blown. Indian cinema get ready for #thangalaan (sic)."

The ensemble cast of "Thangalaan" includes Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Harikrishnan, and many others. The story revolves around the native people of the Kolar Gold Mines in Karnataka, depicting their struggle against the British during the pre-independence era.
