As we had reported last night,actor-music director GV Prakash went to Ariyalur and expressed is condolences to the bereaved father of Anitha who committed suicide on Friday as she could not get a medical college admission due to the implementation of NEET. He is the first person from Kollywood to have paid last respects for Anita in person.
After going to Ariyalur, GVP has posted a video message in which he is visible distressed and running short of words to express his agony.
In the video the 'Theri' music director says "I went to Ariyalur but my sister was not there to welcome me. Till the last moment she believed that she will get justice but we failed her. I am not sure at least the other sisters and brothers will get justice in this matter. Is it wrong for a poor girl to dream of becoming a doctor and have a good job? Anita was studying like a penance and she scored 1176 marks in board exams and secured a cutoff of 196.5.
if she was given proper training and enough time she would have definitely scored good marks in NEET. If a state board student could not answer well in a CBSE questions, that indicates the problem in our Education system. We have to upgrade the standard of the system. This should be the last suicide in India."
