Music director and hero GV Prakash had starred in three movies this year, Sarvam Thaala Mayam, Watchman and Kuppathu Raja, and while Sarvam Thaala Mayam was appreciated by critics, the latter two flicks failed to work at the box office as well as with critics.

GV Prakash is awaiting the release of his next movie Sivappu Manjal Pachai which is a multistarrer that will have him share screen space with Siddharth, and the movie is directed by Sasi who is returning after Pichaikaran released in 2016. He will be playing a street racer in the movie.

Now it has been revealed that GV Prakash will next star in a movie directed by Sathish, an associate of Sasi, who got to know GV during the making of Sivappu Manjal Pachai and narrated a story which the actor liked. This movie will be produced by Axees Film Factory which produced Maragadha Nanayam and Ratsasan and an official announcement will be made soon.
