Ever since he started applying the greasepaint, G.V.Prakash has always been one of the busiest actor in tow concentrating on multiple projects at a time. He has completed acting in a few films and also shooting for some films at this juncture. One of the films he has completed long back is 'Semma' which has been produced by director Pandiraj under his Pasanga Productions banner. 

The film's release was delayed due to the 47 day long Kollywood strike. Now that the strike is over and the Tamil Film Producers Council is working on the order of films that were waiting to release, we can expect 'Semma' to release soon. Recently the film's crew members have confirmed that 'Semma' will release in the month of May 2018 and only the date remains to be confirmed. 

'Semma' has been directed by Valliganth, a former associate of Pandiraj. The film's star cast includes debutant Arthana Binu as the female lead and Kovai Sarala, Yogi babu. Mansoor Ali Khan, Sujatha and many others as supporting actors. G.V.Prakash has scored the music apart from playing the lead role. This is the first rural entertainer of GVP and we hope this will strengthen his foothold in B and C centers.
