G.V.Prakash's next gets a grand festival release date

Famed music director G.V.Prakash Kumar has already emerged as a bankable young hero in Kollywood with a few hits to his credit. This year he has had two releases with 'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku' and 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru'. At present he has multiple projects under his kitty and one among them has got a release date.

It has been official confirmed that 'Bruce Lee' starring G.V.Prakash as the male lead will be hitting the screens for Pongal 2017. The latest posters of the film carry the Pongal 2017 release announcement.

It is to be noted that 'Darling' which was GVP's first release as a hero released for Pongal 2015 and turned out to be a super hit.

While 'Darling' released along Vikram's 'I' and Vishal's 'Aambala'. 'Bruce Lee' in all likelihood will clash with Ilayathalapathy VIjay's 'Bairavaa' which has been firmed up as a Pongal 2017 release. Suriya's 'S3' is also expected to release for the grand Tamil festival but the official confirmation in this regard is yet to be received.

'Bruce Lee' has been directed by Prashanth Pandiaraj a former associate of director Pandiraj. Kriti Kharbanda makes her Kollywood debut playing the female lead in this film. 'Naan Kadavul' Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, 'Mundasupatti' Ramdoss, Anandraj and Mansoor Ali Khan form part of supporting cast.

G.V.Prakash Kumar has done the musical score for the film touted to be a action-comedy. One song in the film's music album has been composed by his assistant Ganesh Sekar. P.V.Shankar has handled the cinematography for the film.
