Famous music composer turned actor GV Prakash is all busy juggling between the shoots of multiple projects. He also has several films queued up for release in his pipeline. Now, the trailer of GVP's upcoming action thriller 'Selfie' just landed on the internet.

Selfie is helmed by the debutant Mathi Maran, a former associate of the ace director Vetri Maaran. The film features the stylish filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon playing the antagonist opposite GV Prakash while Varsha Bollamma of Bigil fame is essaying the female lead role. The 90-second trailer gives a wide view of what the movie deals with. It promises to be a gripping action thriller.

The plot follows the lives of a violent college student played by GV Prakash and a badass college admission broker played by Gautham Menon. Selfie deals with the business of luring students into the management quota of colleges. The crux of the story is the face-off between GVP and GVM as the problem infuriates when engineering students enter the college seat business.

Selfie also stars DG Gunanidhi, Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sangili Murugan, Thangadurai, Subramaniam Shiva, Sam Paul, Vidya Pradeep. GV Prakash is also composing music for the movie. Vishnu Rangasamy will be handling the cinematography of the film, while S Ilayaraja takes care of the editing.
