GV Prakash & Gautham Menon starrer ‘Selfie’ release date announced! – Official update

Famous music composer turned actor GV Prakash will be locking horns with ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon in the upcoming action thriller ‘Selfie’, written and directed by Mathi Maran, a former associate of acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran.

Now, the makers have revealed the highly expected film’s release date. The movie is jointly produced under the banners, V Creations and DG Film Company. Today, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu took to Twitter to officially announce that ‘Selfie’ is scheduled to hit the screens worldwide on April 1.  

‘Selfie’ deals with the business of luring students into the management quota of colleges. The plot follows the lives of a college student played by GV Prakash and a college admission broker played by Gautham Menon. Varsha Bollamma of Bigil fame is headlining the female lead role.

Selfie also stars DG Gunanidhi, Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sangili Murugan, Thangadurai, Subramaniam Shiva, Sam Paul, Vidya Pradeep. It has music scored by GV Prakash himself with cinematography by Vishnu Rangaswamy and editing by Ilayaraja.
