Journalist Rajiv Gandhi has made a documentary film 'Kolai Vilaiyum Nilam' is about the farmers who have committed suicide due to livelihood struggles caused by drought and also their families. After watching this documentary, actor Dhanush has donated Rs.50,000 each for 125 farmers families who have lost their bread-winners.

Now the first song from the documentary has been released by none other than director Pandiraj. The song starting as 'Ammana Desam' has been composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar who has been vehemently supporting the struggles of farmers through various means. The song's lyrics has been penned by director and writer Raju Murugan who was also formerly a journalist.

The song was released at 10 am this morning by Pandiraj in his official Twitter page.
