Actor and music director G.V.Prakash has been actively involved in pro-Jallikattu cause for the past few months. He has been constantly visiting the protests sites across Tamil Nadu and offering various forms of support. He is also actively voicing his support for Jallikattu and the people's protest in his official Twitter handle and also in the interviews for media.
Yesterday the peaceful Jallikattu protests turned awry. Violence and arson were reported in various parts of Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
The Police as well as many film industry celebrities allege that "anti-social" elements have intruded in the hitherto peaceful protests of students and they are responsible for the violence.
But shocking video bytes prove that Police also instigated violence at certain places.
Now GV Prakash in his Twitter page has boldly accused that the Police had attempted to back stab the Jallikattu protesters who have been behaving in a highly dignified manner.
The 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' actor also thanked the fishermen from the slums near the Marina beach for helping the protesters by supplying food and water when the police allegedly tried to stop the basic necessities reach the protesters.
He has also said that the Chennai Cops and TN Government need to explain the violence on Jallikattu protesters.
Thanks to our notchu kuppam brothers and all the fishermen ... love u so much ❤❤❤
