This film is to be directed by Vikram Sukumaran who is an assistant of Balu Mahendra. Kathir, a debutante, is to be the male lead and Oviya is sharing the screen with him in this action flick. GV Prakash's assistant will be the music director for this yet to be named project. "I've always wanted to produce but was waiting for the right script to come along. When Vikram narrated a script, I was floored. It’s a revenge action film and will be international in nature. I wanted a fresh face for the male lead because the film is a raw, Madurai-based subject. The subject had a Malayali heroine and Oviya fits that role perfectly. One of my assistants will score the music. I’ll be announcing that and the rest of the details on January 23. My role model in production is Farhan Akthar, he rocks in everything he does!" said GV Prakash when asked about this film.
