'Guru' teaser out; release time is here

Venkatesh is in 'Dangal' mode. His passion, his breath is boxing. Subjecting his students, girls at that, to grueling regimen and practice sessions, the 'guru' is merciless.
Shot in a relatively less span, the film comes across as visually and technically well-made, if the teaser is anything to go by. Venky has bulked up and his characterization is distinct. As for the release, you have to wait till the first week of April.
The film is written and directed by Sudha Kongara, the one who directed the original. Produced by Sashikant of Y Not Studios, it's presented by Prasad V Potluri. Ritika Singh is playing Venky's disciple (she is also a huge Pawan Kalyan fan in the movie). Mumtaz Sorcar, Nasser, Radha Ravi, Zakir Hussain, and Kaali Venkat, among others, are part of the cast. The much-happening Harshavardhan is the dialogue-writer.
Music is by Santosh Narayanan of 'Kabali' fame. The cinematography is by KA Sakthivel. Editing is by Sathish Surya. Art direction is by Jacki. Stunts are by Stunner Sam.
