After a long time in his career Sathyaraj will be seen in an all new Guru role for his upcoming venture ‘Guru Sishyan’. The movie also has director-actor Sundar C as Sishyan, sharing the lead role with Sathyaraj.

Once again director Sakthi Chidambaram is trying his hand out in comedy with this one, which is the remake of Rajinikanth's superhit movie. Not to forget, the director had earlier used the title ‘Rajathi Raja’ of our superstar which had Larancce in the lead. Sathyaraj has earlier worked with Sakthi Chidambaram for films like ‘Ennama Kannu’, ‘Englishkaran’ and ‘Maha Nadigan’. Sakthi Chidambaram and Sundar C have already made a hit movie titled ‘Sandai’.

Other than Sathyaraj and Sundar C we have Vadivelu to boost the comedy quotient and Hema Malini to bring in that drive.

But then will a comedy- masala entertainer be fulfilled without an item song? Never, so the director has pulled in our Oomph lady Kiran into the film. Kiran will add-on to the Zing of the movie and is expected to make it big this time.

The first half of the shooting has been completed in Pollachi. While the second half of will be canned in Malaysia.

What more do we need when a film has Sathyaraj-Vadivelu-Sundar C together?
