Actor Suriya had been shuttling between his two most expected movies, his 36th movie NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Dream Warrior pictures, and his 37th Kaappaan directed by KV Anand and produced by Lyca Productions.

While NGK is a political entertainer costarring Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, Kaappaan is an action thriller with Suriya playing an NSG commando alongside Mohanlal, Arya and Sayyeshaa. Now, an exciting new update is out on his 38th movie.

Suriya's 38th movie will be directed by Irudhi Suttru maker Sudha kongara in his 2D entertainment banner and the team officially revealed that, Guneet Monga, who had recently won an Oscar for producing the documentary short 'Period: End of sentence', is a part of Suriya 38. More details are awaited on her association with the movie.
