Gundello Godari, starring Aadhi, Lakshmi Manchu, Sandeep Kishan and Tapsee in the lead roles is set to release on 8th March on the eve of the World Women's day. Lakshmi Manchu says that the movie is an honour to the women from all the walks of life and so the release has been set on the world women's day.
Coming to the story, the movie is set on the backdrop of 1986 floods in the Godavari districts. Many had lost their homes and livelihoods in that awful incident and the movie shows how the lives of four people had changed with the tragedy.
