Senior journalist B Jaya is well known to the film news lovers and also to the Telugu film industry as the 'Super Hit' film weekly's editor.

After gaining experience in film reporting and editing of the film news, she turned a director and gave a hit film like 'Chantigadu' and later directed another flick 'Premikulu'.

Now she is busy with her third project 'Gundammagari Manavadu'. The film had completed two schedules successfully and its third schedule has begun at Shamshabad near Hyderabad from March 8.

The unit is planning to complete the talkie part with this schedule to be ended by March 19.

Ali, who turned after playing comedian in several films, had started his second innings with this film after a long gap.

Nikole and Sindhoori are being introduced as heroines through this movie, while Vandemataram Srinivas is providing tunes.

Director Jaya says, 'We are making efforts to complete the talkie with the cooperation from senior artistes. We will bring out the film by April. The film is being made in a way that it would uphold the dignity of the Telugu cinema and is quite attractive to all classes of audiences. This is the 786th film for Ali and 750th film for Kota Srinivasa Rao.'
