When everybody thought it was all over for Gunashekar, he struck back with vengeance last year. Rudrama Devi, made on a massive budget, was critically acclaimed as well as well-received by the audience, not in the least by Allu Arjun's fans only. The way he characterized the characters played by Anushka, Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati resuscitated his sagging image. Gona Ganna Reddy, that is, Allu Arjun became a rage.

Perhaps egged on by the appreciation he got for Rudrama Devi, which did well despite odious comparisons with the visual extra-ordinariness of the magnum opus Baahubali, Gunashekhar is penning a sequel to the film for those who are saying 'choodalani undhi'. As has been reported for long, Prathapa Rudrudu will be the protagonist of this movie.

It has to be seen as to who Guna will cast for the role. More interesting will be who will play the role.
