Though Gunasekhar announced that Rudhramadevi` will be released on June 26th, he hasn`t started promoting the film aggressively yet.

The film was made on a lavish scale and huge cast and crew is involved, but to create interest in the audiences, Gunasekhar should start promoting the film aggressively and innovatively, as the Baahubali` team is doing. Anushka and Rana Daggubati, who also acted in Baahubali`, played the title role and the crucial role of Chalukya Veerabhadra in Rudhramadevi` respectively.

Rudramadevi` is Gunasekhar`s dream project and he has done research for nearly 10 years to start the project. He also turned producer and has spent lavishly to make it a visual feast. It is India`s first historical stereoscopic 3D film.
