Gunasekhar's appeal to media

Intense speculations were doings rounds that Young Rebelstar Prabhas is playing the titular role in director Gunasekhar's historical drama Pratapa Rudrudu. Putting an end to all these speculations, sources close to Guna stated that the Rudhramadevi director hasn't approached Prabhas or any other actor for the film and termed the reports as rumours.
"Gunasekhar is yet to finalise the lead actor in Pratapa Rudrudu. He requested media not to speculate any news pertaining to this historical drama until we come up with an official announcement. Also, he urged the fans of Prabhas not to believe in these reports as there is no truth in it," confides a source close to Guna.
Currently, Guna is busy exploring the history books and he is expected to begin the script work in a month's time. Besides direction, Guna will be bankrolling this project which is a sequel to Anushka starrer Rudhramadevi.
