'Rudramadevi' Press Meet Gallery

Gunasekhar's dream project 'Rudramadevi' will be releasing on 9th October in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions. The film will be released in both 2D and 3D versions. The team members including Gunasekhar, Anushka, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun etc talked about the film at a press conference in Hyderabad.

Gunasekhar says, "The film has been censored with a U/A certificate. There were rumours that the film was censored twice. It is not true. The censor was done once for the trailer and then for the film. The duration of the film is 2 hours 37 minutes. It is very difficult to tell the history of Rudhramadevi in that duration. But I did it.We are going to be release the film in 2D and 3D versions at the same time".

"Different books tell different stories about Rudramadevi. I don't want to change the history. So I researched for nearly 9 years for this project. The story inspired me so much that I produced the film myself. Many felt that I found a hidden treasure because of which I invested so much in the film. Yes, I found a hidden treasure. It is the story of Kakathiyas", Gunasekhar added.

Gunasekhar praised Rana for accepting the role immediately and Chiranjeevi for giving voice over.

Rana said, "NTR comes to mind, when we think of Lord Srikrishna and Krishna when we think of Alluri Seetharama Raju. In the same way, the future generations would say Rudhramadevi would be like Anushka. Every artist and technician worked hard for this movie and I hope it will be successful".

Allu Arjun said, "I acted in this movie so as to encourage a good movie. I spoke in pure Telangana slang in this movie. I expect only compliments from audiences that I did a good role. I don't expect anything from this movie. In South India, only Anushka is apt for the role of Rudramadevi. She accepted the role, even before Baahubali and worked very hard".

Anushka said, "I am very happy to have acted in a big historical film like Rudhramadevi. Everyone, especially Gunasekhar worked very hard for this movie. I hope it will be successful"
