Ace director with a conviction for detail Guna Sekhar is producing and directing a visual historical extravaganza 'Rudrama Devi' with Anushka and Rana playing the lead roles of Rudrama and Chalukya Veerabhadra is shooting their third schedule in a special set of Kakatiya Empire. Guna Sekhar is upbeat about the proceedings and explained the same to the media.

He said 'Kakatiya empire spread across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa as bifurcated now. So, to exemplify the atmosphere of the 13th Century, art director Thota Tarani is designing and building sets of forts and tunnels. We are shooting in the same with Anushka, Rana, Baba Sehgal who is playing Naga Deva, Prakash Raj who is playing Siva Devayya and child artist and Srikanth’s daughter Medha who is playing young Rudrama. Seasoned actors like Ajay, Ravi Prakash, Sivaji Raja and Kadambari Kiran and thousands of extras made up as the then Kakatiya citizens. The director added ‘This schedule will be finished by 17th September and will start the next on the 1st of October. The portions of shoot till now have come out well and I am confident my efforts to make a technically brilliant film on Indian screen will surely pay off.
