Gulshan Devaiah, who is all set for his commercial film debut with Pooja Bhatt's 'Cabaret' is now heard to have been roped in for a film titled 'Pichchar'.

The film directed by Rohit Pathak who is debutante director is a heart warming script of a struggling film-maker who has an unlikely connection with a young boy who hails from a remote village in UP. Although they both have nothing to do with each other in the beginning, a chance meeting between the two makes them both unknowingly relevant to each lives.

Speaking on the news, Gulshan said, "It's a sweet story about following your dreams and beating the odds. I play a very simple, small town guy with big dreams and immense potential but is slowly but steadily being broken down by the ways of the entertainment industry. It's a nice deviation from the kind of films and roles I've done so far. It's a story that will appeal to both young and old, finally my young nieces and nephews can watch their chachu on screen."
