'Gulabi' musician Shashi Preetam undergoes angioplasty after heart attack

Music director Shashi Preetam reportedly suffered a heart attack on Thursday. The composer, known for musical hits like 'Gulabi' in the 1990s, has since undergone angioplasty.
As reported by The New Indian Express, Preetam was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills as soon as he had the attack. The report says that the technician's health is stable currently.
Doctors have been quoted as saying that Preetam had Myocardial Infarction (MI).
'Samudram', 'Hands Up' and 'Mukhbir' are his other outings. Also a writer and a documentary filmmaker, Preetam was in the news in 2016 when he was assaulted by a rival in Madhapur.
