A man from Gujarat's Ahmedabad has been accused of posing as a woman social media to collect nudes from other men and using the same to blackmail and extort money from them.

The accused allegedly has four accounts on social media, where he has been pretending to be a woman in order to seduce men and obtain their nude pictures. Once he gets hold of them, he allegedly blackmails them into giving him money. A man from Ahmedabad, who reportedly paid Rs. 46,010 to the accused, approached the police and registered a complaint with the cyber cell of the city.

An investigation is currently underway and the DCP of the cyber cell has reportedly asked the internet service providers to get the IP address of the device that is being used by the accused. So far, no arrests have been made.
