Senior producer C Kalyan on Wednesday said that the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce today deliberated upon the issues concerning Tollywood. Speaking to the media, Kalyan said that the next meeting will take place on July 30.
Yesterday, the Active Film Producers Guild decided that all film shootings must be stalled from August 1. Kalyan espoused hope that the decision could be consensually reversed in the best case scenario. "We have got time on our hands to resolve issues in the meanwhile," he suggested.
Even in the worst case scenario, Kalyan hopes that all issues will get resolved before the second week of August.
The next General Body Meeting will be held on July 31, he added. If nothing positive comes from the Guild by then, the General Body will make its stance on the cancellation of the shoots clear after the Meeting.
Tollywood actors, workers and technicians are hoping that the producers chalk out a strategy to avoid any delays in the conduct of production works.
