Call it out-of-box thinking, the makers of 'Guddu Rangeela' have decided to add a twist to their city visit promotional schedule. Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh, who play two bumbling men running an orchestra party in North India in this comedy by 'Jolly LLB' director Subhash Kapoor, will perform the music of the film with real life orchestra parties across India during their tours.
The actors play colourful, mischievous orchestra party people, who do small-time crimes. They sing quirky songs like the one in the trailer titled "Mata Ka Email". By doing this promotional activity, the makers feel, they will be able to communicate two things - their characters and the texture of this comedy film. As per schedule, this activity will take place in six cities.
Director Subhash Kapoor says, "Guddu Rangeela run a desi orchestra group that sings some quirky songs. It's going to be very exciting to take the music of the film to the audiences with live orchestra Guddu Rangeela style!"
'Guddu Rangeel' - that narrates the story of these two friends, who gets into real soup by taking on a villain way too powerful for them to tackle and how they manage to use their wit to counter this serious threat in their lives - is set to release on July 3.
