The Union Ministry of Finance on Thursday said that the GST revenue collections for March 2021 were to the tune of Rs 1.23 lakh crore. This is the highest since the introduction of the GST regime.

CGST stands at Rs 22,973 crore, SGST stands at Rs 29,329 crore, while IGST stands at Rs 62,842 crore.

In February, the figure stood at Rs 1.13 lakh crore.

"This is in line with the trend of recovery in the GST revenues over the past five months. The revenues for the month of March 2021 are 27% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year," the government said in a statement.

It may be noted that GST revenues have crossed the Rs 1 lakh crore mark for the sixth month in a row.
