Following a grenade explosion at Jammu and Kashmir’s main bus stand this afternoon, eighteen people have been injured.
An eye witness has reportedly stated that the locals initially thought it was a tire burst. A grenade was allegedly placed under the bus by an unidentified person. Sniffer dogs have been brought to the site while the police have begun an investigation. “The police is working on all the leads. We are collecting evidence and we will hunt them down,” an official said.
Meanwhile, the injured, a majority of whom are bus drivers and conductors, have been shifted to a nearby hospital. Further details on the incident are awaited.
