On Wednesday, actor Dulquer Salmaan took part in the Green India Challenge by planting a sapling in KBR Park of Hyderabad. The actor took up the challenge by actress Aditi Rao Hydari. Dressed in a neon shirt and black joggers, the actor looked charming as ever in the pictures."It gives me great happiness and incredible satisfaction to be part of Green India Challenge. One should make it a habit not only to plant saplings but also to take care of them. Tending to the plants and trees is everyone's responsibility, it ensures us and many generations to come with a pollution-free environment," he said.
Celebrities across the country have taken part in the challenge. Celebs such as Vishal, Arya, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Shruti Haasan, Shraddha Kapoor, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Prabhas, Krishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli, Samantha, Pullela Gopichand, P.V. Sindhu, Saina Nehwal and Sania Mirza participated in the challenge of late.
On the work front, Dulquer is busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Kurup, which is set for a theatrical release on November 12. Kurup is based on a real-life incident on Kerala`s most wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup who has been on the run since the mid-1980s. Directed by Srinath Rajendran, the movie's trailer and songs were released recently and have set high expectations among the moviebuffs. The highly-anticipated film will release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
