At the Mahabalipuram surroundings in Chennai the vehicle in which two popular Kannada actors Komal Kumar and Yogish were travelling lost control. Both fell on the ground and received injuries. They are treated at Mahabalipuram hospital.

The accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. It was film shooting of Kempe Gowda 2`. Producer Shanker Gowda also director of the film had given 10 rehearsals for this particular shot. Yet the accident occurred. The two prominent actors narrowly escaped strain on spinal cord.

Kempe Gowda` was a remake of Tamil film Singham of Suriyaa in which Kichcha Sudeep played the role of tough cop. Shanker Gowda was producer. In this Kempe Gowda 2, Shanker Gowda is producer with Shanker Reddy forming S Company. Roshan Mohan is director of this film in the beginning.
