Indian audiences never fail to surprise. Till just a week back, we had complained that the hype for Salaam Namaste is not up to the mark and movie may take a very good but not an excellent opening. But time and again it has been proved that audience's response to a movie is unpredictable and can vary from one Friday to another.

The same has happened for the release of the week - Salaam Namaste - that has registered an excellent advance booking all over. At least in the Delhi NCR where advance booking opened early this week, all the tickets have been more or less sold out for the entire weekend, with the demand for bulk booking growing by every passing hour.

Even corporate honchos have shown keen interest in the viewing of the movie for their entire staff that is also aided by, now famous; 10-12 shows a day per multiplex.

Seems like this needs an escalation of our earlier prediction of 9-10 crore first week by at least a couple of crores more!
