An NRI comes to India, settles the problems in his family and unites all of them. This is not at all a new story to the Telugu audiences. But knowing Krishna Vamsi's ability as a director, one can sure expect some different flavour.
If a movie has good family elements, it will be definitely received well by the Telugu audiences. GAV is said to be nothing short of such elements. The last half an hour of the film is going to be very emotional according to the movie sources.
Krishna Vamsi is one of the best at handling family entertainers and he is said to have done a great job for this film. Though he is going through a rough patch in his career for the last three to four years, one can't doubt his capability. He looks very confident this time.
This is the fourth film in which Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal have acted together. All the three previous films are successful at the box-office and they are hopeful of continuing their success streak. Kajal will be seen as a girl next door in this film.
Yuvan Shankar Raja's music will also be one of the assets of the film. Some of the songs in the audio album have topped the charts and he is said to have given a very good background score for the film.
The buzz is that this film is an inspiration of ANR-Meena's 'Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu'. Even Ram Charan said that though GAV is inspired by 'Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu', both the films are very different from each other, whether it is in screenplay, dialogues or the treatment.
The film is releasing in other countries like USA, Dubai, Canada, Qatar, Muscat, Bahrain, South Africa, Norway, Australia and New Zealand. It will release in 150 plus locations in USA, Canada and 50 screens in other countries. The film will occupy 750 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 150 screens in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, nearly 85 screens in Maharashtra and 60 screens in North India.
The timing of the release is also a positive for the film, with an extended five day weekend and not having competition from any other big film. There is a fair chance that the movie will get huge openings and first week collections irrespective of the talk.
